Jubilee Camino – Men’s Hike

Join Dominicans and friends on a 20km hike to mark the year of Jubliee.

Walk from Dominican Abbey ruin in Carlingford to Dominicans in Newry St Catherine’s via Newry Cathedral where one recieves the Jubliee indulgence:

To obtain the Jubilee plenary indulgence, a Catholic man must be detached from all sin, and fulfill these specific conditions: sacramental confession, reception of Holy Communion, and prayer for the Pope’s intentions. These three conditions can be fulfilled within a few days before or after the prescribed work, but it’s recommended that Communion and prayer occur on the same day as the work.
