Fr Jacques Philippe Spiritual Reading Group

Join others, over four Tuesdays, using Fr. Jacques Philippe’s book In the School of the Holy Spirit, to discuss how to become docile, attentive, and responsive to the inner movements of the Holy Spirit as the Sanctifier of the Soul.

Over four weeks learn about these four key themes:

Holiness Through Grace: true holiness is not the result of a self-imposed, rigid human effort or perfectionism, but of cooperating with God’s grace and faithfulness to divine inspirations.

Spiritual Poverty & Littleness: growing closer to God requires recognizing one’s weakness, practicing interior surrender, and trusting completely in His fatherly love

Docility: learning to allow the Holy Spirit to guide internal and external faculties, shaping thoughts and actions

Inner Attentiveness: practical steps to help Christians train their hearts to notice and respond to the movements of the Holy Spirit.

Starting Tuesday 10th November at 7:30pm.
