Irish-language family gathering with a Catholic ethos
The Parent’s Irish classes will run through basic Irish, Irish mass responses, and songs/hymns in Irish.
Parents faith formation will be twofold, spiritual and catechetical, governed by the Dominicans.
In Dublin there will be Art Classes and in Sligo creative writing classes for Parents.
All levels accommodated. Beginners in Irish most welcome.
Children will be in two age brackets, 7 -12 and 13 – 17yrs. Their classes will be following Irish lesson plans provided by Mater Dei Education from Cork. They will also learn Irish mass responses, and songs/hymns in Irish.
Their formation will be catechetical and run by the Dominicans.
In both Dublin and Sligo there will be Art and Music classes.
All levels accommodated. Beginners in Irish most welcome.
Information meetings:
Sligo Saturday January 25th, Summerhill College. Starts at 3pm in the college chapel with a Rosary.
Dublin Saturday February 8th, Dominican Priory, Tallaght Village. Starts at 3pm in the Priory church with a Rosary.
At these meetings families can register. 50 euro per family (no matter what size) and then 35 euro per family each Saturday Gaeltacht. Cost includes teas and coffees and a light supper.
