St Declan’s Way

May Bank Holiday Weekend 2025

Saint Declan’s Way follows the route that St Declan took when going to Cashel to meet Saint Patrick in the fifth century.

Join us for three stages over three days. Beginning in Mount Mellary and finishing in Cashel. Every day there will be Mass, Rosary and Adoration.  Also camp fire entertainment each evening.

Suitable for 8yrs and up

Bring your own tent, all meals and washing/toilet facilities provided on site.

Cost: €150 per family.

Sat 3rd May

Assemble in Mount Mellary 11am for Mass.
Then we start our walk.
All tent gear, bags etc…will be carried by van
Arrive at campsite, set up tents, dinner, Holy Hour at 8pm and then camp fire entertainment.

Sun 4th

Mass at 8:30am
Breakfast.
Packed lunch provided.
Walk to Cahir. Bus brings us back to Campsite.
Dinner, prayer, camp fire entertainment.

Monday 4th

Breakfast
Pack up tents and get on the Bus to Cahir.
Walk from Cahir to Cashel.
Mass in the Dominican ruin in Cashel.
Lunch.
Bus brings us all back to Mount Mellary.
