In Vino Veritas
In Vino Veritas brings together young adults for faith discussions in a relaxed, social setting, which normally includes wine and food. These events feature a guest speaker who presents on a relevant topic and then leads a Q&A or discussion, providing an opportunity to connect with other Catholics and deepen their faith in an informal atmosphere.
Purpose: Provides a space for young adults to explore their faith, build community, and apply Catholic teachings to their lives in a modern context.
Format: An evening event typically includes a presentation by a Dominican priest or lay academic on a specific topic related to faith, followed by an open discussion. Social time to mingle is always part of the event.
Setting: Events are held in casual venues, which makes it more accessible for young adults.
Broader Ministry: In Vino Veritas is one component of a larger Dominican young adult ministry, encouraging participation in other church activities like small faith groups and retreats.
