The Aquinas Lecture

With great excitement we announce to you and cordially invite you to

the Aquinas Lecture taking place on Monday, the 30th of January, at 7.30pm,

in St Mary’s Dominican Priory Tallaght:

‘A Dominican Gift: The Prayers Attributed to Aquinas’ – Rev Dr Paul Murray OP

Fr Paul Murray is one of the best loved professors in Rome.

He is a Dominican of the Irish Province, and teaches in the University of St Thomas (Angelicum) where he is professor of spiritual theology, and president of the Institute of Spirituality. He has published many books, including ‘A Drink Called Happiness: The New Wine of Dominican Spirituality’, ‘I Loved Jesus in the Night: Teresa of Calcutta – A Secret Revealed’, ‘Door into the Sacred’, ‘Praying with Confidence: Aquinas on the Lord’s Prayer’ and several books of poetry.

Before delivering what promises to be a wonderful lecture, Fr Paul will be made a Master of Sacred Theology, a rare honour in the Dominican Order, which is awarded to its most diligent and illuminating theologians.

All are welcome to this event, no booking is required, and entry is free.
