On Wednesday the 14th of September five men will receive the Habit of the Dominican Order during the 11am Mass in St. Mary’s Pope’s Quay in Cork. The reception of the habit marks the start of the Noviciate Year, in which the new novices are introduced into the Dominican way of life as they continue to decree their calling towards the Dominican Order.
